This TV has the best factory sound than any other new TV on the market. The picture is fantastic. The remote however is horrible. If your hands are the size of an 8 year old child, you may like this remote. The tiny remote is about half the width of a dollar bill. It has no CC button. The tiny buttons are closely spaced and are all symmetrically spaced plus all are placed on the front rather than the side. It's difficult to tell which button you're pressing in the dark. In addition, the remote is slippery on both sides. I've had it slide off my leather couch numerous times when placed on both sides and that's very annoying. I've looked at the larger Sony TV's in hope they were using a different remote that would be compatible but they all seem to use the same sorry remote. Another issue I've had with the TV itself is the over the air tuner. I live in a rural area and occasionally have to use my antenna. I've had the TV completely freeze in antenna mode to the point where I had to unplug it in order to get it to work again. This seems to be a common problem. I chose this TV over the LG because of the sound which was important but the remote has me rethinking my choice as I have a sound bar to use for movies anyway. Any TV is only as good as its remote because that's how you interact with it. Yes you can use "Hey Google" but that only works about half the time as well and the commands are limited. To sum it up: beautiful picture, excellent built in sound, horrible remote. If the remote is important to you, you may want to look at the LG.
