My previous TV’s backpanel was going out so I did research on the Samsung 90C and this Sony 93L TV. I read numerous reviews written by folks whos job it is is to give you their expert analysis on products such as these. From what I read and the reviews i read, I chose the Sony. The picture is amazing and the colors just, well, pop. The brights are really bright, and the darks are amaxing considering its not an OLed. Blooming with these mini Led’s are very minimal comlared to my full array Led TV and i am extremely impressed with the quality of the puctire itself. Almost lifelike. I also loved the fact that the legs that come with the TV are adjustable, so you can raise the TV if you havd a soundbar so that it does not block the bottom of the TV, or you can lower it so it sits flush on your entertainment center if you choose not to wall mount it. The legs can also be put more twards the middle of the TV or widened out so they are on both ends of the TV. The Google TV is very nice for streaming and I can download apps and install them easy enough as the TV has 20 gigs of storage internally and you can easily add a USB storage device as well if you need more. The menu is easy to use and with the initial setup when you first turn the TV on being so easy, your up and watching TV in no time flat. The TV has plenty of expansion HDMI ports as well and an earc HDMI as well as VRR HDMI and at 4k 120 Hz. I love this TV and am very happy woth my purchase and yes, I would recommend this TV to anyone wanting a great TV with an absolutely amazing picture.

Super impressed with this tv. The picture quality is pretty amazing. This sometimes looks like a OLED. Right out of the box its stunning. I think I made one tiny tweek in brightness. I love the Netflix calibration and the IMAX calibration for Sony Core. Movies and shows are just great! The colors and contrast really really are fantastic. Dark scenes look incredible and brighter scenes are phenomenal. I really dont see any blooming at all. I added a cable matters gig speed ethernet to usb 3.0 so my internet speed is well over 900 mbps. Being the ethernet port is a 10/100 just plug it in to your high speed usb port. You will see a big difference. Especially with the Google tv OS. Super fast. This is easily the best looking tv I have owned! I have worked in broadcast television for over 30 years. And wont buy anything but Sony. I still have the first hdtv I bought a Sony Trinitron 1080i tube tv still looks great. 2 55 inch Sonys one 15 years old 1080i and a 1080p and a 65 inch 4k all of these tvs look just as good as when I bought them. A couple last things on this one. If your in a market with next gen tv. It looks great! Much better than your normal broadcast station. And the upconversion on this tv makes everything look better! The only thing I think that could be better is the remote. Its real small and takes a bit to get used to. I wish it were at least backlit. Anyhow love this tv a highly reccomend it!

Two months ago, I’d decided I was buying a Samsung QLED. Then I began leaning towards the LG OLED’s, due to my company’s deployment of them throughout several hospitals in my division. I became very familiar with them because of this. Started doing my research on the different brands and models. Reading both expert and customer reviews. I was always a fan of Sony. Purchased a Trinitron Tube model (That thing must’ve weighed 300 lbs) back in 2002. It was still a great TV, even after I sold it to a neighbor, several years later. The Bravia’s continued to catch my eye during my research. But my wife kept saying they were too expensive. I was finally able to convince her that with the combination of the sale price and our accumulation of Best Buy gift cards through our company’s employee recognition program, we could knock $1300 off the original price. I wanted to check out both the X90L and the X93L, 75” models. To my delight, Best Buy had both them both powered on and displayed side-by-side. Had I not been able to see them together, I would’ve been just as happy with the X90L. But once I saw the difference in the colors, specifically the lack of blooming in the blacks, I was sold. Purchased this TV on “Black Friday” while visiting another part of the country. Having it sent to my home address was without issue. Wanted to wait as long as I could, just in case Best Buy would discount it even more before Christmas (hasn’t happened……YET). Delivery was as promised. They were in and out of my home in no time. Setup was a breeze. The remote is not what I’ve been used to. No numeric buttons. But that’s now the future in tech, I guess. The picture is AMAZING. I couldn’t wait to put the brightness to the test. Here in Houston, we get lots of very bright sun. Even in the winter. I opened every set of blinds in the room, just to see if the reality matched the hyperbole. The wife and I just sat there in awe. We could see the reflections of the windows in the screen. But the TV’s picture was in no way obscured by all the light. I’m still playing with the settings and ports. But even out of the box, this thing is top-notch. Wonderful job, Sony. You still rule.
