A: Hi there, Laurel. Good day! Yes, you can change the wash cycle on your Frigidaire FLCE7523AW Laundry Center after starting, but it requires canceling the current cycle first. Here's how to do it: 1. Cancel the Current Cycle: Press the POWER button to stop the ongoing cycle. You may hear a beep, and the washer's lid lock will disengage once the drum comes to a complete stop. 2. Select a New Cycle: After the machine has stopped, turn the cycle selector to choose your desired wash cycle. 3. Adjust Settings: You can now adjust settings like wash temperature, soil level, and water level to suit your new cycle choice. 4. Start the New Cycle: Press the START/PAUSE button to begin the new cycle. Please note that simply turning the cycle selector without pressing the POWER button will not change the current cycle. Attempting to do so may cause the lights to flash and a beep signal. If you need to add a forgotten item mid-cycle, you can press the START/PAUSE button to pause the cycle, wait for the lid lock to release, add the item, close the lid, and press START/PAUSE again to resume. - Maico

So far so good. Only used it a few times, but seems to do what it needs to. It was delivered damaged, with a small dent. Best Buy customer service was none too willing to take care of it, but ultimately agreed to send me a $200 gift card. It was supposed to be here last week, so I expect they are going to try to weasel out of it, but that has nothing to do with the functions of the machine. Just poor customer service!!! I love the fact the door opens right to left. Where this machine is placed in my house, I no longer have to worry about hitting my head when I move clothes from the washer to the drier. The knobs and controls are somewhat easy to follow. I need to read the directions more carefully. One thing I do not like is the end of drier notification. This machine just beeps a few times (like R2-D2). This means, unless I am listening for it, and close to it, I will not hear it. Would be much better if it buzzed loudly like my old machine. That way I would hear it from anywhere in the house. So, overall, it is a washer/drier unit. The design of these has not changed in 60 years (or whenever they were invented). If it ain't broke, don't fix it. So far, it seems to do what it should. Time will tell!

The delivery service was excellent!! The washer and dryer works great so far, however the dryer is extremely loud, but on the flip side it dries GREAT!!

The washer is loud on the spin cycle. It is not a huge deal for me, but just FYI, there is no fabric softener dispenser. The dryer is pretty good, if a bit small for blankets and comforters. It fits a small space, but I must admit that I miss my big, full-sized machines.
