Q: Do I need to cancel after 6 months not to get charged or will I be notified?

A: Probably (I am confident enough in my answer to say more likely - most definitely rather than probably) yes, you will have to put it on your calendar or reminders to cancel that is how 99% of these "try me" offers work. They count on people being forgetful or stupid. I have been there and done that many times myself and consider myself part of the stupid and forgetful crowd.

Q: I got the link to the redeem it in my email but when i click on it it brings me to the apple music app and say “an error occur, please try again” What do I do, someone please help!

A: Hey Kenny I was having the same issue and I figured it out! In your email on your phone, press and hold the redeem now until you get an option to copy the link, then open up safari and copy the link into the URL box, hit go and it should work without issues, worked for me!

Q: When I go on Apple Music it says that it’s only 3 months is that only me?

A: It will say three months but when you refresh your phone then you will see the expiration date which will be 6 months from the day you start the trail.

Q: It says new or returning subscribers but when I go to redeem, it says it’s for new users only. That’s a bit misleading, don’t you think?

A: Mine said the same thing because i was still paying for last month’s apple music subscription. But my subscription just ended today, and i cancelled my subscription beforehand. So this morning as soon as my subscription ended i was able to redeem 5 months free, and was considered a “returning customer”, because i no longer had a plan set up with apple music. Apple tried to tell me i had to be a cancelled apple music subscriber for 3 years!! in order to be considered a returning customer….but obviously that’s not true! If you have a previous subscription, just wait until it expires and do not renew it. Then redeem the code and you’ll be considered a returning customer.

Q: How do I cancel after the 6 months are over?

A: Settings> apple id> subscriptions> Apple Music > cancel free trail

Q: It says debit or credit but I don’t have a card, why do I need a card when it’s free

A: Because nothing in life is truly freee and if you continue the subscription they need to charge it to someone card

A: It lasts forever, so long as the apple account your getting it for hasn't been subscribed to apple music yet.
