A: If you don't need the cellular service, I recommend getting just the Wifi version. You'll save money and be able to use this iPad anywhere there is a wifi connection, as well as load books through the kindle app.

A: When purchasing through Best Buy, you either sign up for Verizon, or go through the process of adding the iPad to your existing service plan. The iPad is shipped to you with service active.
