This model is jam packed with the latest technology. Some of the features that stand out are: 3000 nits peak brightness with 3000 local dimming zones, 165Hz refresh rate, 4 speakers plus a subwoofer built in for complete Dolby Atmos sound, Wi-Fi 6E, anti-reflective coating, AI processor features, a bevy of HDMI inputs, and ATSC 3.0 (especially useful if you’re a cord-cutter). In addition to extremely vibrant colors and sold black levels, the TV supports the latest in gaming technology. Combined, I find it to be a perfect combo for both movie watching and gaming. This is my third Hisense television. My previous one also being a 75-inch model. However, it was the 2022 model year. My goal when reviewing the new TV was to primarily focus on picture quality compared to the older model. I did so by setting up both TVs side by side, as seen in the pictures posted with this review. After a lot of comparing, my overall conclusion is that both TVs output exceptional color with deep black levels, the new model being more vibrant with better detail all around. The improved picture quality may be due to the introduction of artificial intelligence integrated into the processor. As you can see in the included picture, there are many new AI related features that can be utilize for both picture and sound. By combining these settings with the standard picture adjustments, I was able to dial-in a picture to my liking. One feature I choose not to use is a content identification service. Hisense refers to this service as Enhanced Viewing. By enabling Enhanced Viewing, you give Hisense permission to capture snippets of everything you’re currently viewing, in order to identify the content by transmitting the snippets to an external company, with the purpose of automatically adjusting the TVs picture and sound settings. Not only do I not like my settings continuously adjusted while I’m watching TV, I do not want to give Hisense or a third-party entity access to my personal data at such a granular level. Fortunately, it’s easy to skip this feature during setup by not agreeing to the terms and conditions. Returning to the features that make this TV standout compared to similar models, the built-in gaming features are top notch. The TV features a game bar overlay that can be enabled to provide real time information, such as frames per second, auto low latency status, as well as the ability to change additional game settings easily (see image). You can find more gaming features within the Gaming section of the menu. I tested many of these features while playing various games on my Xbox. Overall, I can’t say enough about how well this TV is designed for serious gameplay. Another feature present on this TV is its anti-reflection coating. Personally, I was hesitant about this feature. The screen has a special layer that can reduce glare, such as sunlight or room lights. I was concerned that the anti-reflective layer would reduce some of the clarity and brightness from the TV’s picture. My concerns were allayed once I was able to check it out firsthand. The 3000 nits peak brightness allows for vibrant colors as well as detailed and clear images. To see an example of the reduction in reflection, view the image I posted along with this review. You will see my older Hisense model without the anti-reflective coating sitting next to the new 2025 model with the coating. During dark sense in movies, the bright living room light is scaled back and isn’t so obvious on the screen. Overall, I think this new feature is helpful and doesn’t hurt the image coming from the TV. In terms of the Google TV interface, everything runs smoothly. Switching inputs, loading the home screen, opening and switching apps, playing content within the apps, is snappy. In the past, some TVs I’ve owned needed a couple updates for the TV to run as intended. But so far, everything I’ve tested works as it should. Especially, the eARC HDMI connection; it interfaced with my audio/video receiver without any issue. The receiver can properly recognize both Dolby Vision and Atmos content for proper playback. I’m very happy with my 75-inch version of this model. The picture quality is superb; the built-in speakers are the best I’ve ever heard from a TV; and the features and technology included in this year’s model, like AI image enhancement, make this TV look and perform like more expensive models.

I have been searching for an upgrade for my 10 year old, 55" OLED TV. I knew that I wanted something larger that would still fit into my wall unit (77'' or smaller). I needed something affordable but was unwilling to give up on decent picture quality. I wanted advanced connectivity options to support my peripherals and support for as many video modes as possible. After seeing the lineup of Hisense 2025 mini-LED products I immediately knew they would be a contender! I chose the 75" U75QG ULED 4K set running the Google TV OS. Both my streaming box and my projector run on Google TV so I am comfortable navigating the interface and operating the remote controls. I was also impressed with the claimed 3000 lumens brightness and 3000 dimming zones. The unit ships with a stand and weighs less than 70 pounds so I knew it would be a perfect fit for my wall unit. I also wanted the best connectivity possible and the U7 offers four HDMI 2.1 connectors (one with HDMI-3 eARC). There is also support for WiFi 6E (802.11ax), Bluetooth 5.3 and Ethernet. You also get two USB ports, an RF antenna jack with support for QAM/ATSC 3.0 NextGen TV and an Optical Digital audio port. The unit arrived on a pallet and was securely packaged. You will need help getting the TV moved to where you want to install it and out of its box. The stand consists of two legs and a nice looking plastic cover that makes it look like a single unit. There are also a couple of clips for nominal cable management. The whole set feels quite secure when standing up. Powering up, pairing the remote, performing the obligatory firmware update(s) and customizing the settings went quite smoothly although it does take a little time. Speaking of the remote I was actually quite pleased with its appearance and operations. The unit is plastic but looks like brushed metal. The buttons feel solid and the whole thing has a quality feel. It is backlit and offers voice control. The overall layout is very familiar to anyone used to Google TV - dedicated app buttons (Netflix, Disney Plus, Prime Video, Hulu, YouTube) plus one customizable favorites key, volume, mute and channel keys and more. A strong thumbs-up for the remote! Out of the box the picture is extremely bright which resulted in elevated black levels (particularly off putting if you are coming from an OLED). I spent the first couple of days consulting the Internet to get the picture dialed in. I finally used the built-in AI driven customization to arrive at a picture that seemed best for my taste. I am still fine tuning but the picture is very watchable. Color volume and saturation seem quite good. I assume this is aided by their "quantum dot color" design. The screen has an anti-reflective coating that works well without impacting viewing quality. The panel runs at a native rate of 165Hz! I'm not a game player but that kind of additional overhead bodes well for smooth motion. Hisense claims a 178 degree viewing angle but you really need to take that with a grain of salt. The picture begins to severely wash out long before then! Thankfully the 75" size means that most of the seats in my room still have a watchable image. In summary - Hisense has produced a very good TV here. I am very much enjoying the larger screen. Interacting with Google TV through the remote is snappy and solid. Picture quality is good but I do wish there was more dynamic contrast (on the low end, plenty bright on the high end!) and better off-angle viewing. Definitely keep Hisense on your list when you go shopping for your next TV. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised at the bang-for-your-buck!

This TV is absolutely stunning! It makes all my other TVs look insignificant. The moment I powered it on, I knew it was going to be amazing. I've been wanting a bigger TV for my living room for quite a while, and this Hisense 75-inch TV is exactly what I was looking for. The picture quality is incredible. The 4K videos look outstanding, making you feel as if you're right in the moment. The speakers are also top-notch; there’s no need for a soundbar or any additional speakers because they sound fantastic. I was surprised by the size compared to my previous 65-inch TV, the difference is remarkable. Setting up the TV was quick and easy since I already have a Gmail account, and everything transferred smoothly. This TV comes loaded with a variety of apps and free live TV options, so there’s a lot to choose from. Google Assistant is another great feature. If you’re not in the mood to scroll through menus or type out letters one by one, just hold down the mic on the remote and ask Google to help you. The remote control even lights up as soon as you press any button, which is something I've never seen on any other TV remote I've owned. Hisense has truly impressed me. I never expected such quality since I’ve always purchased other brands, and Hisense wasn’t an option for me. However, this TV has changed my perspective on the brand, and I definitely recommend it 100%. Overall, the picture quality is stunning, the sound quality is excellent, the size is perfect for me, and it’s loaded with an abundance of content to watch. It’s worth every penny!
