I am posting this review after almost a year of use. Great Monitor for the price. The display is really clear. There is a HDMI and a Display Port so you can connect multiple devices at the same time. There is also a headphone jack which is a nice addition. It would have been great if there was a USB C port but apart from that it's a nice quality monitor. It's great for gaming as well. I have the monitor connected to my Xbox Series gaming console and it's great for all the latest AAA titles like COD MW3, COD Warzone, GTA 5 and FIFA 23. The response rate is really good. It also has one joystick for all the controls and is easy to manuver. It has a energy saving mode which is great if you would like to improve the overall life of the monitor as well reduce the electricity consumption by the monitor.

I figured itd be just like 3 other monitors i had just TRIED to install (as a 2nd monitor, try using 2 monitors you’ll more than like the benifits) but had to return them as they wouldn’t or couldn’t be recognized by my new iMac w/Apple M3 chip, 8 core CPU / 10 core GPU, 8GB unified mem., 512GB SSD. W/Two Thunderbolt / USB 4 ports & Two USB 3 ports. Oh the other hand, LG’s manual(s)-SUCK, (1STAR). Construction-a whole lotta plastic but it’s light weight so it’ll work, (4STAR). Appearance-(5STAR), Installation- (1STAR) If you install it yourself. Here’s the rub- between the new iMac not having an HDMI port only an USB-C it could only be accomplished using an HDMI to USB-C cable. LG said use their supplied HDMI cable…using the adapter cabel didn’t work, Their supplied cabel couldn’t work so to determine if it was the monitor or adapter cable i plugged their cable into my MACBook Pro (which had HDMI port) and it worked, next i tried the USB-C to HDMI adapter cabel to the same MACBook Pro and it worked as well. So i you guessed it, i tried once again to the new iMac and unbelievable it now worked, but only as a mirror. After some poking around with the “display” option was it possible to have it work as intended but that too wasn’t quite right as it was 180 degrees from the side i wanted (being right handed, right eye dominant i wanted it to my right) after figuring out how to switch the arrangement from left to right (different option on system preferences) it was finally performing as desired (all 27” of it) which is actually better yet as my vision isn’t as good as it ever was and the larger screen helps immensely. Final verdict is it became a 5(Star) (sorta like the song goes (… get to LA by way of Omaha.) All except LG’s manual still SUCKS!!!

What I Love: No glare screen (matte) so perfect for long days of work. Size is perfectly huge. Clean rich colors. THIS CAN BE MOUNTED ON A WALL OR ANYTHING ELSE even though it doesn't say it can. (It has a VESA Mount). The sale price was unbelievable which is why I'm a BB fan. Word of Advice: Go in the setting and turn off the ability for it to give BEEP prompts. Will drive you crazy otherwise.
