A:AnswerThis is a one-time-cost product - The Elements suite are a "light" or "beginner" product that doesn't scale to the scope of the larger "Adobe Creative Cloud" - Which is subscription-only. This product contains a perpetual license- By purchasing it at Retail, you own use rights for the software as long as it is compatible with your platform (macOS or Windows 10 in this case).
A:AnswerIt came with disks for both windows and mac, however you get a redemption code for each item (premiere & elements) that you need to go online to redeem before you can use the programs. Finding the redemption site redemption area was a royal pain. I kept getting a 404 error. So I was about to call adobe but I googled it first. After an hour plus of trying to find the link to redeem, I finally found it. Why cant they just make things easy! ONCE YOU REDEEM, then you can go ahead & enter the redemption numbers they give you into the programs so they are activated. I suggest to take a screenshot of the redemption codes they give you, print it out & keep it in the box. I wouldnt go further with the installation until I had a printed copy of those 2 very long numbers in my hand.
A:AnswerYes, follow the installation instructions inside the package I just did mine no cd drive. No problem. Download software from the ADOBE website.
A:AnswerIt is subscription only for the full Adobe Photoshop but that is not the case for Adobe Photoshop ELEMENTS 2020. You have the option of purchasing Adobe Photoshop Elements 2020 either with a disk or as a download.
A:AnswerThe software can be downloaded from Adobe directly. I use it on my surface and it slows down a bit, performance wise, because it's a bigger program, but it works.
A:AnswerWhile Full versions of Photoshop and Premier would give more possibilities, and adjustments to videos, both “Elements” versions of Photoshop and Premier will allow editing, cutting, and stitching together of videos.
A:AnswerWhen purchased, make sure you register the product. If your system crashes or computer dies completely I would contact Adobe and ask how to move the application to your new system after all you did purchase the application and you do have the codes to load the application again. I'm sure they will help make the transition.
A:AnswerYes. In general, Elements tends not to lose features over time. They change their location and ease of use. The product has evolved to be more photo oriented - so those tools are easier to use and more front and center - they love their aware tools. You will probably have a bit of a learning curve to find what you used to do. And some of the adjustments for the tools are in new places. Sorry I can't remember when they made a massive change in the tools, it may well be in the 10's.
By the way, good luck - you'll find the newer software bloated with stuff you don't need or want. It is a little like moving into a new house, it takes a while to get used to the new surroundings.
A:AnswerUse each specified disk for each computer.. They are life rafts for crashes. You can always use text or telephone with Adobe Support to help with any questions.
