A:AnswerPhotoshop Elements is a stripped down version of Photoshop. Yo can do some amazing things with the program, but it is not Photoshop. If you need all the capabilities of Photoshop you will not be happy with Photoshop Elements.
A:AnswerYes. I confirmed this with Adobe tech support beforehand, and then loaded Elements 2022 on both my desktop and laptop. Have been using on both for several months with no problem. This makes perfect sense since it's convenient to keep up with editing while traveling, but also edit using the larger screen when home.
There is a limit of two computers per purchased program, however.
A:AnswerYou are allowed two computers per purchased program. In my case, I have installed on laptop for traveling, and on desktop for most of my editing (larger monitor, full-sized keyboard).
If you have only installed on one computer, you could use the additional install allowance on your new computer. Adobe tech support has been very helpful (800-833-6687).
A:AnswerI have the Z6ii, and I was unable to open RAW files with PS 2020, got the new PS 2022 and they open without any problem. Also they new version is very smooth, and with much improvements over the previous versions.
A:AnswerIf you save your download on a USB or Dropbox, you should be able to install it on an additional computer. Be sure to save your key in a text document if you download. I bought the CD version because it is easy to install on multiple devices.
A:AnswerI purchased 2022 from a store and didn't see anything about monthly payments or annual subscription. So, as with other PS Elements I've owned I'm assuming I have fulfilled my financial obligation. Terry Seltz
A:AnswerI have not used it yet. been to busy with other projects, getting trailer and boat ready for summer. Since newer versions are basic upgrades from prior, it should still have layering. I went from 2012 to the 2022
