phone calls and text messages null

Hi There, Were you looking to see if this device was able to make phone calls and send text messages? If so, there is no cellular technology built into this. You would be able to download a program like Skype, or even utilize the Amazon Alexa applicaton to make a phone call on it. There is no native messaging application built into it but there are messaging clients that you can download through the Amazon App store. Have a great day!
