“I'm thinking about purchasing (2) Amazon Fire HD 10 Kids Edition - 10.1 Tablet- 32GB Blue & Pink for my grand kids. Can they watch youtube kids videos on these tablets? My neighbor said that Google doesn't work with Amazon? Fact or Fiction? Please explain”

In the "kids mode" you can only use what the amazon free time is affiliated with(all kids stuff). Still alot of apps and you can watch youtube videos but you cannot download from Google play. When the adult signs in or "changes profiles" it's just like a normal tablet. Still cannot download from google play and I dont think hulu works either but I do watch netflix on it. Amazon only has certain affiliates and seems google and a few other company's are not. Hope that helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Neighbor is partially correct. It is an android but runs a separate app store locked from the google play store. Most apps are available but not the Google branded ones like YouTube.
