A:AnswerHello, ROYBOY! The Fire Cube has far field voice recognition in it which enables you to ask Alexa for things without having to hold down the button on your remote. The Cube also has a hexacore processor in it (versus the quad core in a Fire Stick), so it will work a lot faster than the Fire TV Sticks. Depending on which Fire TV Stick you are looking for, the picture quality may be better (the 4K Fire Stick offers the same great picture, but the other two Fire Sticks do not have access to a 4K picture). The other big difference is the storage capacity. The Cube has 16 GB of storage where the other sticks have 8 GB. I hope that helps answer your question! Have a great day!
A:AnswerHello, Chris! There are not any additional monthly payments in order to use the Fire TV Cube. You only have to pay for things you want to add, such as a Netflix or Hulu subscription. There are quite a few free streaming services available through the Fire TV Cube. I hope that helps. Have a good day!
A:AnswerThe Fire TV Cube does not record content by itself. If you're looking for DVR features, you can look into the Fire TV Recast. You connect it to an antenna to get local channels and has a built in DVR for recording local channels, then you're able to sync this with an app or any Fire TV devices to view live tv and the DVR.
A:AnswerHello gator007! The Fire TV Cube is a 2019 release device and is currently the latest iteration of this device for the moment. I hope this answers your question and you have a nice day!
A:AnswerYou need WiFi and yes you would need a fire stick for each device or you could just keep switching it depending on which tv you’re watching at the time but one stick or cube will not be connected to multiple devices at the same tome whatever tv it’s plugged into at the time is the tv that will be connected to it so say you want to watch something and your kids wants to watch in another room you’d need two devices
A:AnswerHello Pawneeboy,
If you already have an Amazon account, you will be asked to sign in to your account during the set up process. Set up is pretty simple and only takes a few moments.
Hope this helps!
A:AnswerHello, Grandad2944!
Thank you for your question. The two different postings for the 2nd generation are actually the same streaming device--one just has the updated Alexa Voice Remote with it. Both devices run exactly the same, except one has the up to date remote with the hot keys to quickly take you to your streaming services. You could definitely replace a 4K Fire TV Stick with either of these Fire TV Cubes and it will work the same way. The Fire TV Cube offers a faster processor and double the memory of your 4K Fire TV Stick, so you will see faster speeds. I hope this information helps. Have a great day!
A:AnswerHello, Porkchop! Yes! With the Fire TV Cube, you can quickly and easily change the channel through voice command. Simply say, "Alexa, turn to ESPN" and she will change the channel for you. Have a great day!
A:AnswerHi Donutd,
If the video was available via the web, then you could watch it, and keep restarting when it is finished. It will not have the ability to download per say, you will still need Wifi, then only thing that will download on the device itself is the Apps. And repeat for a movie is not an option, you would have to start it again after it was finished. Hope this information helps. Have a great day.
A:AnswerHello!
The Fire TV Stick 4k is just a device to stream content. The Fire TV Cube does a few other things. Along with the ability to stream the 4k content, it supports Dolby surround, Dolby Atmos and it has an echo dot built into the device. It also comes with a IR adapter, that allows you to control devices such as TV, Cable Box, Soundbars and other devices that use a remote to turn on and off and change inputs, all with your voice. Hope this helps in your decision. Have a great day!
