    • Answer Hi Paperwhite! The Kindle and the Paperwhite have many differences! The Kindle has a 6" glare free display and 4 LEDs for the front light and only comes with 16GB of storage. The Paperwhite has a 6.8" glare free display so it is slightly bigger. The Paperwhite has 17 LEDs for front light- so it is much brighter and has adjustable warm light! It also comes with storage options of 8GB or 16GB. The resolution on both devices is 300ppi. Both devices have a one year limited warranty. Hope that helps!

    • Answer Hello Lala! At this time, Best Buy does not carry the device without ad support, however the ad support can be removed from the device for a one time fee from Amazon.   • QuestionThe specs indicate that this device does not have bluetooth/wifi so how can I read on the go?

    • Answer Hi There! Thanks for your question. If you would like to read on the go, you can download your desired books when you have wifi connection and after they are downloaded, they will be available when not on wifi. The Kindle does have bluetooth connectivity and can be used with Alexa or your favorite headphones once enabled in settings! Hope that helps!

    • Answer Yes. It is not required for you to have an Amazon prime membership or for you to purchase a Kindle unlimited membership once you have the Kindle. Once you have the Kindle you will have an option to have 3 months free of Kindle unlimited which I suggest to getting because even if you don't want to keep it you can just cancel it and instead purchase your digital books.

    • Answer Hello! If you car support Bluetooth then yes, you can use this Kindle in the car for audio. Also, if you have the Kindle app download to your phone, you can listen to audiobooks by connecting your phone to your car. You can pair a Bluetooth device via Settings in a Bluetooth-enabled Kindle. Here's how: Note: You need to turn the Wi-Fi on and complete the over-the-air update in order to pair a Bluetooth device. Put the Bluetooth device into pairing mode. Tap the Quick Actions button Quick actions button on the toolbar. Tap All Settings. Make sure Bluetooth is set to On. Tap Bluetooth Devices. Tap on the device you want to pair. Tap Connect. The Bluetooth device shows as connected. You can also connect a Bluetooth device right from the Audible player screen by tapping on Bluetooth not connected and following the prompts. Now that your Bluetooth device is connected, you can listen to your audiobooks! Enjoy!

I do believe you get a month or something like that, as when I spoke to the Amazon Kindle assistant, she said I should use the initial free offers, but I declined as I didn't want to have to call and cancel. I use the library to borrow any book I want to read as it loads automatically from my MacBook to the kindle.
