It takes a while. Upwards around 18-24hrs for it to be fully charged. But once charged it last for around 4-5x fully charging my phone.

It took forever from 22% to 100% charge about 12 hours

This seems to depend on multiple factors. It holds a lot of charge, I can fully charge my phone 4-5 times on a full bank. That being said if you use the regular usb base with cord to USB-C on the device it could take a long time, like 6+ hours. If you connect a usb-c base and plug into the usb-c port in the power bank this could be reduced to less than 2 hours. All of these choices are also affected by the electricity and the outlets where you are charging as well.

Initially it took a few hours to fully charge.

Unfortunately, a lot longer than the smaller one I purchased several years back. I would say roughly maybe an hour, depending on what power level it's at when you start the charge.
