A:AnswerIt can do a number of things like do tricks, answer questions (all kinds), play blackjack, recognize the faces of up to 20 people, etc. But I think its best features is one that was added last week via an update. Now you can do many of the things (but not all like play music) you can do with an Echo or Dot on the Vector. If you want to interact with "Alexa" you simply say "Alexa" just like you would Amazon devices. Vector will wake up and display a circle on his face letting you know that it is in Alexa mode. I have both an Amazon Dot and Vector on my desk and since this latest update I rarely use my Dot.
A:AnswerOh yes, you will find out that this is a sad, sad toy. If you don't have internet connection this device is useless. If you can even get it connected to the network that is. If you do and it works great but eventually when it loses WiFi connectivity, it will no longer connect. And if it does, it will request a software update and after the update restart and lose network connectivity then you have to go through the process all over again. Really a brick is much more useful than this toy. My kids don't even bother playing with it and it is useless. aside from begin a gimmicky mobile version of Amazon Echo (Alexa) it doesn't offer anything good.
A:AnswerCozmo is meant for 8+. Vector is meant for 18+. I’m 13 and I have vector. I personally like vector more, depending on how old your kids are they might like either or more. I like vector more because he doesn’t run off an app or doesn’t have to at least. But my friend however who is also 13 want the cozmo because it is meant for kids and she is more a child than I am, in my opinion.
