I would try removing all the equipment from the unit to make sure the UPS isn't becoming overloaded. It shouldn't be since the old unit was a similar size but it is always good to rule it out. You can also try unplugging the power from the wall, disconnect the internal battery then hold the power button for around 10 seconds to reset the unit.
