All other current iPads feature Touch ID, the iPad Pros have Face ID. ... Both the iPad Pro models have bigger screens than the rest of the iPad range. That difference is no longer so stark when the new iPad Air's screen is now 10.5 inches as compared to the 11 inches of the smaller iPad Pro.

A lot!! Pro has a higher resolution more capable for professional use, Air is older less state of the art. Pro can be used more like a computer software and is more advanced. Air is good but works well for getting in the internet and not as advanced in its fetchers as the pro. Processor is faster in the pro and more ram to have more applications open at a time.

Pro has Better: Ram, Processor speed, Resolution, operating software, more fetcher rich in the pro, Air is VW and Pro is Ferrari.

The iPad Air is wicked thin (and correspondingly lighter). Performance specs and capability of iPad Pro probably more like a laptop than a traditional iPad.

The pro has more space so you can add more apps/programs.
But the iPad pro is the 2017 model, the iPad air is the 2019 model.
