I've owned 6 and never had one go bad. If you are hard on it or travel a lot buy a good case. But they typically last 3-5 years if you want them to or hold their value well and can be traded in every 3 years or so for a newer faster model.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Our old iPads are still working after five years however the ability to do some of the latest updates are not available to us now on the older products
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'd say 3 years because you'll want a faster more efficient one after about 3 years, or less. We still have the first model and it works. It's been through a lot too! You can't update it anymore. Some apps require a newer operating system, and therefor you can't download them. So eventually, I'm sure the current model will likely have the same issues. We also have the iPad 2. The kids use that one mostly. I have the iPad Air 1 and want this one as it seems way faster.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Never dies... it gets outdated but lives forever unless you physically damage it!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have owned and loved Apple products ever since 1984 (iMacs, MacBook Pros, iPads, and iPhones). I have never had problems with their functionality and replaced them only when Apple offered new features that I liked but not necessarily needed. When I did replace them, I either gave them away or sold them and, so far as I know, they are still working. :)
