• I have a multitude of Apple devices. I back up everything to iCloud. When I add or replace a device, I setup my iCloud account on the new device and sync the new device with iCloud. You can’t get messages that way, but make sure your current iPad has Photos in the cloud and those should end up putting the images on the new iPad.
