• No. The iPad mini 5 has slightly different microphone and volume button placement.

• They moved the microphone from the side of the iPad mini 4 to the back of the new iPad mini. Cases for the iPad mini 4 are going to cover up this microphone on the back. Also, there is a small difference in the volume buttons on the side. So you are better off just getting a case for the new iPad mini specifically.

• The Ipad Mini 4 cases will fit the Mini 5 but, it covers the microphone hole on the back. The microphone was moved to the center on the 5.
