• You can trade in your old phone at anytime. But what matters is, if you want to buy a new phone and restart your contract then you will end up in paying off your contract (which normally costs between $250-$350)

• Yes you can, but you will be paying the full retail price of the phone to do so.(sucks) Good thing- your contract will stay the same, you will not have to sign a new agreement since you will be paying full price for the device.
