Well... It is kinda complicated. If the purpose is to use a trackpad on a Windows-only PC, then don't consider this trackpad. You need to install special software which makes it barely work with a few gestures. If you don't install the software, it only accepts clicks, no gestures whatsoever. However, if you are on a Mac and using Bootcamp to run Windows 10, then the trackpad works fine. So it really depends on the scenario.

There is Magic Trackpad 2 software that's available for Windows for under $20. Without such software the device is incompatible with Windows.

It works very well with Windows, and is very accurate, intuitive, and responsive. I have a Microsoft TrackBall, which has always been my favorite interface, but the Apple Trackpad works well with Windows, also.
