• Yes, some carriers are giving 3 months free, then they charge an extra $10 to your Carrier bill.

• Yes... you have to get an extra data plan through your carrier if you want to use the LTE cellular version.

• My cell provider is Verizon. Their watch policy currently (12-2017) is 3 months for free and then $10 a month after that. Friends told me that other providers charge $5 a month add a watch, but I didn't confirm that, as I wanted to stay with Verizon.
