A:AnswerSUPERBLY UNFORTUNATELY, Bubba, I did some research for you just in case you hadn't obtained the unfortunate news within the p[revious 3 months that, unfortunately -- again, AppleCare+ for MacBooks does NOT cover loss/theft of the MacBook. It does, however, cover "Defects" + "Accidental Damage" amongst a host of other things, including; but not limited to Hardware coverage (battery/included accessories (such as the Lighting Type-C USB Lighting Charger)/Airport).
Hope this helps,

A:AnswerOnly deal with Apple for repairs to their devices. This is what you are paying for when you purchase AppleCare. You can mail it in or go to the stores once they are reopened. If anyone tries to repair a apple device the warranty is immediately voided no questions asked from Apple and you will be stuck with a device Apple no longer covers.
A:AnswerI previously had a MacBook Pro. It was covered although I do not remember the size it was the largest screen at that time several years ago. That was my first time purchasing Apple Care. Things may have changed! I am sure a sales staff person can help you with what ever questions you have. They have always been helpful for me!
