Q: QuestionWill this modem work with Century Link? Also, I see mentioned in previous comments that this is a modem/router combo. Does that mean I would no longer need my router?

• A:Answer No, this device won't work with Centurylink's services. Yes, this is a modem router combo, Since the device already has an inbuilt WiFi you won't need an additional wifi router. But you are free to use your own wifi router as well if you want to ( and turn this device into bridge mode)

• A:Answer Yes, you should be able to use your google router with this device. We recommend putting SBG10 in bridge mode to avoid any Wi-Fi interferences

Q: QuestionI bought this to use with my new cox wifi. It is plugged in (coax and power), the lights are all lit up, COX has s/n and MAC, but every time I try to activate it to set up internet access through COX, I get an error message "device not supported" HELP??

• A:Answer SBG10 is compatible with Mediacom's service. Hulu's subscription does not comes by default with the purchase of the device, you need to have a subscription service for streaming Hulu

• A:Answer Please note that this device is wifi cable modem which works on the DOCSIS technology and hence is compatible with cable internet service providers. It is not a VDSL modem and hence vectoring technology is not supported
