But this doesn't have HDMI 2 which is needed for more than 60 for the PS5, right? It only has HDMI 1.4 so even if capable 144 without the 'new' type of HDMI that's on the PS5 it won't generate 144 or 124 etc.

If you don't trust me go to an employee yourself at best buy but when I went to look for a gaming monitor an employee told me that 1ms response time works well with new consoles like PS5 and the refresh rate is fine the PS5 supports 120hz this monitor is 165 hz

It’s a really great monitor. For all needs. I use it on my ps5 so yea get it. Def worth it.
