All that reseting and updating stuff is pointless I had the same problem and solved it by pinching and running my finger across the bendy wire that goes around your neck it fixes it everytime I think it does that because you have a loose wire in your earbuds and by doing that it puts it back in place.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This happens to me, though only when I'm using them exercising and sweating. Seems to cut off; then when trying to turn back on 3 flashes of the white light; then in a few minutes they work again only to crash out a few minutes later. Resetting does not work nor does updating the firmware. Given the amount of content on the web concerning the performance of these with sweat, I hypothesize that it is because they are not really water resistant.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Drove me crazy- 3 blinking white lights and no connection. I’ve reset, downloaded new software to update- EVERYTHING. THEN Ran my finders along wires and the realized THE WIRES ARE PULLING AWAY AT THE MICROPHONE!!! I pinched them and dapped a tiny bit of superglue to keep the fusion point connected— WORKS LIKE A CHARM! (Thanks to the guy below for the wire tip!!!!!!) I was ready to throw these away! Working great. (FYI This is in regards to WHITE light only- no red involved/ battery is fine)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This happens to me too. I belive it happens when they are wet or too cold/hot. Just make sure to wait till the ethe right temp or dry, then they should work.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Had the same situation and the re-setting stuff does nothing as well as the firmware update. Spent hour and a half on the line with Apple to have them say they won't stand behind them even thought they are 5 months old. And they could not explain what the error codes meant from the lights! The last pair I had lasted 11 months but failed the same way. The info below that that I thinks makes sense is that they are just not designed for exercise. Searching for a reliable brand now.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Tried resetting and updating software/firmware. Didn't seem to work. I think some of you are on to something with a loose wire. I watched a video on how to replace the battery. After I find a new pair I'm probably going to pull them apart and see for myself. I contacted customer support and they said they were out of warranty by "almost" 3 months and would not budge. I think Im going to look into raycons endorsed by Snoop-a-Loop
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I disconnected/forget beats on blue tooth. Then I let my beats and case drain out of battery completely. 2 days later I plugged it in and it connected and started working again.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have tried every single solution listed on this page. Bottom line is..... they work when they want to. Its just another typical, overpriced piece of Apple crap that fails in a year. Iphone, Ipod (gift), Beats (gift), I have owned them all and they are nothing but garbage. No idea how Apple has convinced consumers their products are superior. They are crap.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. My power beats keeps blinking whatever light after the charge
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Well apple used to make good stuff. These are great sounding head on phones. Mine are doing this now re sauntering the wire is easy for me if that's the problem I've used them for snowboarding before and this is the first time I e had a problem the humidity is very high. Let's face it if you want good headphones w good sound to be durable and work flawlessly SONY.
