“Can you use Bissell floor cleaners instead of water?”

• The information booklet says NO. This steam mop gets your floors really clean WITHOUT CLEANERS. Why would you want to use chemicals on your floors? Bissell makes scented distilled water if you want to try that.

• No, you can not. They have fragrant demineralized water that you can use but not the floor cleaners.

• The instructions recommend distilled or demineralized water to prolong the life of the steam cleaner. Bissell does sell its own scented demineralized water in various scents such as citrus, spring breeze, and eucalyptus. The instructions emphasize no chemicals.
