What kind of cleanser can be used? null

Instructions state distilled water only, unless you purchase one of the Bissell cleaning solutions that are recommended. Sometimes I mix a solution of Murphy's Oil Soap and water in a spray bottle and spray it on the hard wood floor before steaming. Hope this helps!

Distilled water goes inside the water dispenser. I spray an essential oil mixture on the floor as I mop. But nothing but water should be put in steam mop itself.

Although it's only recommended to use ONLY water, I've added white vinegar in the water tank along with the water. Add products at your own discretion.
