Is the carafe glass or metal? Does the plate stay hot? null

Thank you for your question. This coffee maker has a glass carafe, and it will keep brewed coffee hot for 2 hours and then automatically turn off.

It's glass and yes the plate still hot for two hours and then shuts off.

The carafe is glass and the plate stays hot with auto shut off timer.
