YES! This is the best camera system for your needs and so easy to set up an you get unlimited iCloud storage. You can erase any video you no longer want or need. All that is required is to download the Blink app from the App Store to your iPhone. It’s the best investment I have made thus far!!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can setup blink either with a battery (included Lithium battery) not rechargeable or plug it to a hardline power. Which is not included but it’s a universal usb plug. Audio works great and you can easily erase videos off the app once the camera is triggered. You don’t have to pay any yearly fees
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This system does not have DVR storage it uses the cloud style storage. There is no fee for this however. You can also delete older video clips. In the settings you can set when they delete. I have not yet filled up our storage so I don't know how that will work on it's own. For watching though, you only get alerts when there is motion (which is said to help the battery life) but you watch in 10 second intervals.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The Blink cameras can last for up to 2 Years on a single pair of non-rechargeable AA Lithium batteries. This is defined as 40,000 seconds of Motion Clips and Live View. This is the average use for the majority of Blink camera systems. You are able to adjust your camera settings, view video clips, receive notifications, and access live view through the App on your mobile device from anywhere as long as you have a wifi or cellular connection. This is important to note for your cellular data plan, watching a five second motion clip without WiFi connection will use about 750KB of your data plan. The Blink cameras record 5 to 60 second clips based on motion detection only, you are able to access the live view on the cameras at anytime however you cannot record while in live view. The Blink cameras record audio as well as video. The cloud storage for the Basic Blink camera systems can hold up to 1440 5-second clips for as long as you like (no expiration) - when it becomes full, it will automatically delete the oldest clip in order to make room for the next one. You are however also able to delete or save any Blink clips from the clip roll folder of the APP at anytime.
