You get the mop wet. Attach it to the underneath back side of Bob and turn on the Clean function. It will drag the mop around behind itself.

This particular model comes with a pad that looks sort of like a swiffer wet jet pad but it is cloth, washable, and dry.

So the routine would be that you spray your floor with water, white Federer, some kind of cleaner, and the Bob just pushes around the cloth over the cleaner like a mop would do.

The Slam version actually has a Water bin for mopping (I believe you should double check the slam if you do by one because some slams are sold without the mop attachment and some include it so be sure you have one that includes the mop attachment pieces).

If you have medium to light duty floors, you might be happier with this version, if mopping is the priority.
