• This is a CDMA phone that can only be used in the USA on the Boost Mobile network. It's brother, the LG L70 is a GSM phone that might work outside of the USA after it is unlocked.

• Boost (Sprint) uses CDMA which isn't widely adopted around the world. GSM, which AT&T and Verizon use, are found in most countries. So while you can probably change the SIM card out of this phone, you may find that the frequencies and communication technology it uses won't be compatible with cell towers in most other countries outside of the US.
