“Do you have to use jet dry with this product? I just bought this and now everyone is telling me they like it but complain about the filter and having to use jet dry.”

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I haven't tried running the Bosch 500 dishwasher without a product like "jet-dry" yet. But I have found that if something is recommended by the manufacturer for optimum results in getting the product to function at its best, do it. My dishes come out so beautiful. The finish is amazing on everything, so it is definitely worth the few cents it cost you to use it. As far as the filter, it is not a big deal to clean it. Take it out, rinse it off and put it back.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The filter is very easy to remove for cleaning and put back in. The chemicals in your water will determine if you need to use jet dry. We have well water therefore use jet dry; in doing so. silverware, glasses and dishes come out dishwasher bright and shiney.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, if you want sparkling shiny gorgeous dishes the Jet Dry helps a lot. Not sure why anyone would complain about having to use that tho?!?! This machine actually has a setting where you can adjust and control how much is dispensed and it has an indicator to tell you when you need to add more. NOT a big deal to use. My glassware has never looked so good!!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it is strongly recommended that you use Jet Dry in the machine. It tells you when it is empty on the display. If you do not use Jet Dry it can affect the cycle times and the ability to get your dishes perfectly clean.
