The feet are adjustable so they can be raised as well as lowered. In our case we have a 34" opening with a small strip of wood under the countertop so the installers left a 1/4 inch gap above the front of the Bosch under the counter. Looks fine. The back part of the top of the Bosch has plastic ridges that are taller than the front so that's the only way it can fit. On our old model we had the regular Bosch 34 inch, which was actually 33 and 1/2 inches tall. It fit fine but the new standard Bosch 34" model is 33 and 5/8" tall so it couldn't clear the front of our opening in the cabinet. The ADA was the only solution for us. The only downside is that the inside height of the Bosch tub is 2" shorter than the standard 34" so tall plates on the bottom level means that you have to raise the middle level. So then you can't use taller items on the middle level. Each load is different so you have to plan your load. Other than that its great so far.
