I have purchased both. We upgraded to the Soundtrue when they were out of Soundsport and my daughter was very happy. The style is the same, but it's the sound quality that is much different. Its noise canceling feature is great. Sometimes too great when she can't hear. If you can afford the extra $20 it is worth it! Our store has sales every now and again and so you might be able to get them for the price of the Soundsport around New Years.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Thank you for your inquiry! The SoundSport line of headphones are engineered for better durability, especially during active use. They are also water/sweat resistant. SoundTrue in-ear heapdhones offer the same comfortable fit and continue to offer great audio-quality, but were not designed for active use. We hope this helps! - Brian
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Although the sound true is not noise canceling, it is however noise isolation. The sound true does a much better job cutting down on background noise. And that is the only difference between the two that I can find.
