A:AnswerOnly 1 but you can listen all kinds of music wi-fi and blue tooth. I don't play cd's. I listen to IHeart radio... use the app and type the kind of music you want to hear and there's no advertising. I love it!
A:AnswerYou can! The Bose Wave SoundTouch Music System IV has a 1/8" (3.5mm) AUX input which will allow you to connect to the headphone jack or the audio output on your TV.
A:AnswerHello Peewee. The Wave Music System IV would be a great option for a simple Bose system that plays CDs. We do not sell a multi-CD changer for it, but you could connect any non-Bose multi-CD changer to it using the 3.5mm AUX input on the back. Thank you for the question!
A:AnswerHello Rush, You can ! If you have a Sirius receiver you may connect to the AUX Input on the back of the Wave SoundTouch IV or you may stream wirelessly to Sirius by using the SoundTouch app and selecting Sirius as your source.
A:AnswerHello Doc. Thank you for the question. The Wave SoundTouch Music System IV is a standalone system with speakers built into it. It is not designed to power another set of speakers and does not have outputs for connecting to other speakers in that way.
A:AnswerHello, our Wave Music System IV includes an auxiliary input for connecting other devices like your turntable. A pre-amp is required, some turntables have them integrated or you can simply add one inline. Thanks for the question and have a great day!
A:AnswerHello JAnnese, thank you for your question. To eject a CD from your Wave SoundTouch music system IV, you will first want to press the icon that looks like a triangle with a line directly underneath it to stop the CD. Then, press this button again to eject the CD. You may also press and hold the button to eject the CD. Please contact us if you require further assistance. Thank you! Josselyn - Bose Support
A:AnswerHello Bob,
We're glad you asked. The Multi Disc Changer has been discontinued as people now seem to prefer Bluetooth and wireless connections. Repair and replacement options are still available. Please call Bose technical support at 800-379-2073 for details.
A:AnswerHi Ranger!
Great question. The USB port that you see on the Wave SoundTouch IV is used in some situations for initial setup but isn't capable of being used to play music from a USB drive or connected computer. I hope this answers your question! Jeff - Bose Support
A:AnswerThank you for the great question! Both systems were engineered to provide crisp, clear, room-filling sound. They both have a single CD-player, AM/FM tuner, AUX input, and alarm clock features. The Wave SoundTouch System IV brings additional features, such as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. These bring additional music listening options, such as SoundTouch Music Services (e.g. Pandora, Deezer, Amazon Music, Spotify, iHeartRadio, SiriusXM, and more), as well as the ability to stream music directly from smartphones and tablets using Bluetooth. We hope this helps to answer your question!
A:AnswerHello Pepe, we can definitely help, if you reset your Bose Wave SoundTouch Music System IV you will be able to add it again in the SoundTouch app. To reset your system:
1) Disconnect the system from power
2) Press and hold the Control button on the back of the SoundTouch pedestal
3) While pressing and holding the Control button, reconnect power.
Continue to hold the Control button for five seconds until the LED Status indicator is blinking white (then release).
After releasing the Control button, the SoundTouch pedestal will take approximately 3-4 minutes to reset to factory defaults. During this time the LED will blink white, solid white, orange, and no LED. After 3-4 minutes the LED will continuously blink orange and is now completely factory reset and in initial setup mode.
We hope this helps! Have a great day!
A:AnswerHi Foxy! Glad to hear that you're interested in the Wave SoundTouch IV. This system was engineered to be a standalone music system and there is no connection for a sub woofer. We use a number of proprietary technologies, including digital signal processing and WaveGuide, so the music is reproduced as the artist intended without the need for any additional equipment. We hope you give it a listen! Thanks, Jeff - Bose Support
A:AnswerThere is an auxiliary jack on the back of this system that can be used to connect a turntable. One thing worth checking is whether your turntable has a built-in preamplifier (they will usually say so on the bottom). If not, you can always order a separate preamplifier directly through us or Best Buy to accomplish this.
A:AnswerHello Kat, The stop/eject button is on the Bose remote, first press stops the CD, second press ejects. You'll find it on the right side of the remote under the number 6.
