A:Answerabout 700 pages this has bee about the average... unless your copy/coverage is 70% or more 100% of the time... My guess is your not going to print much more the 85%-100% coverage but only a few times... So 700 is a safe # of pages per Brother starter toner Cartridge
Enjoy and be glad is not an inkjet....
A:AnswerYes super easy setup. Basically plug and play and it will download the drive online so they only give you a cd in case your computer is not connected to the Internet.
A:AnswerMy family turns this on when we use it and off when we don't in order to save electricity. We haven't had any issues so far.
The printer does not appear to have an auto shutoff function.
A:AnswerThis printer includes a "starter" cartridge. The starter cartridge yields approximately 700 pages. I would recommend purchasing cartridge-TN660 which will yield approximately 2600 pages.
A:AnswerBrother lists a driver package for Vista, so it will probably work. Works good on Windows 7 and 10 for me. Brother is one of the best for having all the needed drivers for different versions of Windows.
A:AnswerNo, this unit has the following requirements: PC: Windows Server 2003 (32- or 64-bit), 2008, 2008 R2, 2012, 2012 R2, XP Home, XP Professional, XP Professional x64, Vista, 7, 8 or 8.1; Mac: OS X v10.7.5, 10.8.x, 10.9.x; Linux.
A:AnswerNothing, well nothing except different toner. For example Brother 2240
2300
2320
2340
2360 are basically the same, I think they just discontinue a model number and stick a different number plate on it and Wala a new HL model.
A:AnswerBrother makes such great products that as far as a printer is concerned (I had one since 2007 and never had a problem with it). I only had to buy this new one because I finally got a new computer, and the old printer was no longer compatible with the current Windows. So I personally feel no, you do not need them.
A:AnswerYes, I think it can print a 3 x 6 note card. Just change the size of the paper. Under the Basic tab, for paper size select User Defined. Then enter the height and width you want. You may also want to change the paper thickness if your card is thinker than regular paper. Again, under the Basic tab, look for Media Type. I'm sure your note card will print just fine..
