I just reviewed this with specific details to help remove any doubt since I had the same question: I just reviewed this to eliminate any doubt about this because I had the same question. While it may not have been compatible years ago, it is now. Excerpt from my review: There are a few questions that have been posed in the Questions section that have mixed answers regarding J480DW. It IS made for that model as well as others not listed in the current pic. Here's why: 1) I ordered this from Best Buy today w/ curbside pickup and the current package no longer shows only what you see in the pic attached to the description...it shows more models including J480DW. I'll attach a current pic. 2) Before I ordered, I checked Brother's website, I'll attach a screenshot of that too. But here's what it's currently showing as compatible: "Brother Genuine LC2033PKS is for use with: MFC-J4320DW, MFC-J4420DW, MFC-J460DW, MFC-J4620DW, MFC-J480DW, MFC-J485DW, MFC-J5520DW, MFC-J5620DW, MFC-J5720DW, MFC-J680DW, MFC-J880DW, MFC-J885DW." Note that the picture in the description as well as the one I'm attaching calls the product "LC203CL XL" but the name in the title is LC2033PKS. BOTH names show up on the box I just ordered (the "PKS" name shows as "Reorder Number") so don't worry you didn't get the right one.
