Yes, the two RGB controllers included both require SATA power connectors. So you need 2 free. Also the fans still need to be plugged into fan headers on the motherboard. You can get splitters for both SATA power cables and fan headers for pretty cheap. The two controllers are basically 6 fans per 1 sequential RGB channel. So they will al be in sync with some fancy lighting.
FANS WILL STILL WORK WITHOUT THE CONTROLLERS since they use motherboard fan headers. The RGB just won’t be on.

I had to get splitters for SATA and the fan headers myself, I think it was worth it, since the RGB software is really nice and looks great.

Hi Alex,

Yes, you will need a SATA power connector for the Lighting Node controller and the RGB fan hub as well.
