A:AnswerI believe it is just FM--at least FM is a function rather than radio generally and there is no specific AM function. I never noticed this before because I never listen to AM radio. It is a pretty good and reasonably priced desktop CD player with amp built in for people like me, who still generally listen to CDs. We are, of course, an old and vanishing demographic.
