How do you install this in the PS5 or do you just plug it in the port of the PS5? null

It is a internal drive. You have to flip the ps5 over, remove the cover and then install the ssd in the slot. It's pretty easy do you will just need a small screwdriver and make sure to not lose the screws or drop them in the fans. You can find alot of videos online on how to install the ssd in the ps5, even Playstation.com has video.

Thanks, I purchased this and it was so easy to install. Took the cover off the ps5 easily and flipped it over and unscrewed 1 screw to get to the area to insert the ssd put the cover and screw back on and then the cover to the ps5 and I was done. Works great! I was able to buy other games and save them there.

It installs in the back of the ps5. Get on youtube and search for ssd install and you will find a lot of videos showing you how to do it.
