I had this computer, It can be upgraded up 64gb of ram. I done it and it worked great. You can also replace the 2230 form factor hard drive with the full size 2280 form factor up to 4tb. I don't know why these computer companies keep the truth from the consumer, seems to be counterproductive in my opinion. Also, just my opinion, but the Ryzen 5 version is better than the Ryzen 7 version. Had them both and done the upgrades to both. The Ryzen 7 versions built in GPU was constantly having issue's.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I’ve been trying to find out myself. According to crucial’s website it is upgradable to 64GB (2x32). There’s also a reviewer that mentions the same thing. I wish BB would include that info in the specs so we wouldn’t have to keep asking. https://www.crucial.com/compatible-upgrade-for/dell/inspiron-14-7445-2-in-1?_gl=1*1ooacnb*_up*MQ..*_ga*OTQwNDIwMDg2LjE3MTc2MDM1MjQ.*_ga_6H4RYWV7QY*MTcxNzYwMzUyMy4xLjEuMTcxNzYwNDE5MS4wLjAuMTUyMDg4MDMwNA..#memory
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Contrary to what RayPcBuilder states, this is NOT LPDDR RAM, which is ALWAYS soldered in, and is a of a completely different form factor. It is standard SODIMM, comes with one 8GB module, and has one empty slot. Dell quotes a maximum installation of 16GB, but practical experience from others state that you can go up to 64GB (2x32), which is more than most people ever need.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This laptop has two slots with max configuration of 16gb.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It is upgradedable up to 16GB, the laptop comes with a 8GB stick on one slot and the other slot is empty
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. There are two lpddr5 connections one of them is populated with an 8 GB stick of RAM. As far as what is upgradable to I'm not sure yet. Believe I read somewhere 16. There is one unpopulated connection for another stick. But be warned you have to remove the bottom of the laptop to get to it which could possibly void your warranty.
