Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It works decent in my opinion when the wind is slight. I'd say anything over 20-25 mph gusts might be about its limit in an area with no trees or obstructions. I think with more experience the more comfortable I'll be when it's anything but perfect flying conditions. The app also has a wind alert on your monitor if gusts reach a certain speed. It's a flashing message on the side of the screen that you can press to ignore or it will stop when the wind does.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The Mini 2 has level 5 wind resistance (defined as winds 19-24mph) & Flys very well, even in moderate winds of around 20-25mph. That being said typically the higher you fly the worse the wind is at that elevation, & wind warnings will come up on screen. With this drone only weighing <249g, it's compact size, & smaller propellers/motors it is the least wind resistant of DJIs modern lineup. It's still extremely impressive for its size & can really handle some pretty strong wind & stay locked in place well with good GPS.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The mini 2 is a super light drone. While it is very capable, I isn't good in winds above 22-25. It will still work, but you will have to be careful and fly into the wind on your way out, so you don't have to fight it on your return. If wind is a factor you might consider an Air 2 S.
