Mine didnt come with a dvd at all, just a piece of paper with the key on it. I think they all come that way now but now 100% sure.

The physical copy didn't even come with a disc at all, just the cases. As such, you do not need a drive. The key is printed on a cardboard cutout of a disc.

It's a cardboard disc with a CD-key.
