- Answer I highly doubt you can wash the carbon part, but I assume you can wash the outer hepa filter though you would want to completely dry it before inserting it back onto your purifier

- Answer Hello gpaw2, This is Miella from Dyson. To reset the filter life on the machine, press and hold the Standby button on the remote control. The machine's display screen will countdown from five, finishing with the default screen. This will reset the combination filter life. You can also reset your filter life in your settings on the Dyson Link app. Hope this helps! Miella Dyson Customer Support

- Answer Hello there, this is Kelly with Dyson. The Dyson HEPA filters will have a filter life of 4382 hours; if using your machine 24 hours a day the filter life is going to be about six months. If you run the machine 12 hours each day the filter will last you a year. Dyson purifiers are designed to capture 99.97% of particle pollutants as small as 0.3 microns. This will include things like mold, bacteria, odors, pollen, pet dander and potentially harmful ultra-fine particles. Best wishes, Kelly Dyson Customer Support

- Answer Depends on your air quality and how many hours a day it is on. I leave mine on 24/7 and it is in lower level of home. It lasts a year. Air quality has been great. Few contaminants.
