Does this pick up cat litter or kick it back like other vacuums? null

This will work if you don't use the attachments, just the stick to suck it up.

This is Carissa with Dyson. Our V6 Animal will have no issues when using in Max mode and using another tool besides the motorized head.

On full power it probably kicks back less than 5% of the litter which I'm ok with. 

I have the full sized yellow upright Dyson that kickbacks almost 0% cat litter. Really a great beater brush and housing design.

If you keep the vacuum down on the floor it will pick up the litter, but if you lift it off the ground at all it will kick it back at your feet. I also connect the nozzle on there and vacuum up the litter in the small corners.

It picks up litter and dirt very well due to its strong suction. Better than other cordless vacs that I tried.

Hi Meagan. I just purchased the Dyson V6 Animal and I also have a cat. I can tell you...this cordless vacuum not only pick up stray litter but everything else. It doesn't kick the litter around either. I was very impressed by this. I was worried I'd have that problem and I've only had this for about a week and I'm very pleased with it. You won't have any regrets either. I would definitely recommend this vacuum for any pet owners. You'll be amazed at what this tiny vacuum picks up. It also collects in a canister and when full, you just press a button and it empties into the trash, or you can remove the canister all together to dump and wash out. Hope this helps!

No. My experience is that all the litter stays in the machine. Empty it regularly.
