You can use this router with satellite internet. It will help extend the range of your wifi signal, but it likely won't improve the speed of your network.

Your question is difficult to answer because I am not sure whether you are asking to improve your wi-fi coverage or improve your internet speed - these are two totally different issues. The eero devices supply wi-fi connectivity to devices within its range such as your house. So any laptop, computer, tablets and smart devices would use wi-fi to connect to the eero router. The eero then has to send all this communication to the internet and from your question that would be via Hughes Net and a satellite. To make that work you would need to run an ethernet cable from the eero router to your Hughes Net modem. If your issue is slow internet speeds because of the Satellite then this eero router will not help you. If you are having issues with your wireless connectivity dropping out or not reaching certain areas of the house then the eero system would help you. Also if you are looking to expand your wireless coverage I would recommend getting the eero router with at least one extender. I purchased the one with 3 devices - one router and two extenders.
