Yes, the rice sticks a bit.... but... non-stick is chemically... I unstick rice after removing what is needed for the meal.... I remove pot from heat, add a splash of water to extra rice & cover. The cooled rice comes out easily & is ready for the fridge.

Please try again later.Tips: If needed to remove any layer of rice that sticks to the bottom of the cooking pot, remove the cooking pot from the rice cooker and set aside with the lid covered. Let sit for 10 minutes away from any additional heat. Internal heat will loosen the rice and allow it to be scooped.
