  • QuestionDoes the ink dry up if you don’t print much?

    Asked by Mary.

    • Answer Hello Mary. The ET-2400, along with all Epson printers, uses inkjet technology. If the printer sits without usage for some time, you can potentially run into print-head-related issues. We recommend doing simple user maintenance such as nozzle check printouts, which use minimal ink and head cleanings to help avoid ink clogging on the printer. Please see the User's Guide on our official Epson Support page for more helpful maintenance information. Regards, Kevin - The Epson Team.

  • QuestionIs this a sublimation printer?

    Asked by Peanut.

    • Answer Hi Peanut. The Epson ET-2400 was not designed for dye-sublimation printing nor the use of non-genuine Epson ink cartridges. Using sublimation ink in this printer could damage the print head and impact warranty coverage. Regards, Kevin - The Epson Team.

  • QuestionCan I use sticker paper in this printer?

    Asked by Mychelle.

    • Answer Hi Mychelle, We cannot test the EcoTank ET-2400 with all third-party paper types, so cannot guarantee print quality. It does work with Epson Photo Quality Self Adhesive Sheets. If you try other sticker paper, start with a small batch to make sure the quality is sufficient before printing large jobs. Regards, Mark - The Epson Team.

  • QuestionCan I print on card stock with my Epson ecotank ET-2400 or will the card stock break it?

    Asked by Roux.

    • Answer Hello Roux. The ET-2400 can print on card stock. However, the thickest paper we have tested on the machine is Epson Premium Photo Paper Glossy, which weighs 79 lb. For cardstock, we have tested similar Epson paper that weighs around 44 lb. Please be aware that these recommendations are for Epson paper only. You can try a cardstock that falls in that range, but your results can vary when using other brands and heavier paper. Regards, Kevin - The Epson Team
